We made it to a year!!!!!!

So today was our 1st wedding anniversary. We had a great day and want to thank all of those who called or sent thoughts and wishes our way.

We thought it woud be fun to commemorate the occasion by taking a picture of us and our "family" at the 1 year mark. I can guarantee our family will look much different next year!!!!!

Something not Baby P related... but equally exciting!

So I am putting this on my blog since people are checking it for updates.

I am very excited to announce that my scrapbooking room is in the early stages of completion. I can actually use it right now to make scrapbooks and do some sewing projects. I am very excited. It is still not exactly how I want it to look and there are still some storage issues I am tackling but for now it is functional and AMAZING!!!

Funny Story

I have been feeling lots of Baby P's movements lately and they are becoming much more constant and forceful!

We were laying on the couch the other night and Maggie was laying across the bottom part of my stomach. I could feel Baby P wiggling around and all of a sudden Maggie jolted!! Baby P had kicked her!!!! Baby P continued to kick until Maggie moved. It was hilarious because Maggie would literally bounce right off my stomach. She was not impressed but I was laughing! 

You would think that she would've learned but yet every night she curls up in the same spot and repeatedly gets kicked! She must secretly like it!!!!!!!!!

24 Weeks!

So as of August 11th I am now 24 weeks (6 months)!!!! It is crazy to think I am over half way and almost into my third trimester. 

I visited my family doctor yesterday and she did a complete exam as this is the last time I will see her. After this I have been referred to an OB-GYN that will stay with me until the baby is born. The doctor says everything is good but I am a tad on the SMALL size. She said you should gain about 1cm per week in your stomach meaning I should be at 24 cm and I am only at 22.5cm. She said this is normal and obviously I am taking care of myself. I have only gained 12 pounds in my entire pregnancy (which is really good :D) and I walk with the puppies a lot. She also said the baby could be smaller (which is also okay with me LOL). She says I should be gaining about a pound a week now as the baby puts on lots of weight, so we will see how fast I POP in the next couple of weeks.

Baby Registry

We took advantage of the Civic holiday and our days off to go and create a registry.

We had debated where to register as most of our family lives far away from us. Sears is easiest for everyone, but we found Sears very overpriced and there wasn't a lot in the actual store. I am a very visual shopper, I need to see products and be able to test them before I buy them. 

Therefore the best option for us was Babies R Us. They have a huge selection of products all out in the open for you to test and touch. Plus we found most of their products competitively priced. And like other box stores they have name brand as well as their own lower priced but comparable brand. We are super excited and couldn't believe how many things we actually put onto our registry. 

Below is all of the registry information. As far as I understand you can purchase items at any store and we can pick them up at a store close to us. This will save on shipping costs and dilemnas.
